Kakapo
The Kakapo story began in 2002. The name was initially Katipo (New Zealand’s only poisonous spider), however, this was changed to Kakapo a year later. A flightless parrot has far more appeal than a creepy crawly.
Kakapo wines are selected from various vineyards throughout the Marlborough region. The brand consists of a Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and a Sauvignon Blanc. The unique label design encapsulates the essence of the character of the endangered and very cheeky Kakapo bird.
